Description

The GEPE Laboratory is a research, development and demonstration space in the fields of power electronics, electric mobility, power quality and energy conversion systems.

Within the scope of the ATE project, this facility supports the validation of technological solutions associated with advanced electric vehicle charging infrastructures, contributing to the development of more efficient, flexible systems that are better integrated with the electrical grid.

  • 1 floor (~100 m²) open-space with test benches and desks
  • Multiple DC bench power supplies, oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • 15 kVA three-phase power supply
  • 15 kVA DC power supply
  • Three-phase and single-phase power analyser
  • Soldering station with irons and hot-air rework station
  • Electrical machines (motors and generators)

Conditions of Use

Use in R&D and demonstration project contexts, under coordination of GEPE, University of Minho.
